LottoLocker Privacy Policy

Effective 25 August 2026; advertising section added 11 September 2026. LottoLocker is operated by Money Moonshot LLC, a Washington limited liability company. This policy describes what the app stores, what it does not, and how to remove it.

What we store

• Your email address — it identifies your account and is where account mail goes.
• Your password, hashed — stored using scrypt with a random per-account salt. We cannot read your password and cannot recover it for you.
• Your tickets — the game, draw date, the numbers you saved, an optional note, and the barcode string if one was decoded.
• Notification subscriptions — if you turn on alerts, the push endpoint your browser issues, so we can tell you about a ticket before it expires.

Ticket photos

When you scan a ticket, the image is sent to our server, read, and discarded. It is not written to disk and not retained. What is saved is the result — the numbers, game and date — after you have reviewed it.

Artificial intelligence: none

LottoLocker uses no AI service and no third-party model. Ticket reading is done on our own server by matching the printed characters against a library of glyphs taken from real tickets, because lottery terminals print one fixed font. Nothing about your tickets is sent to an AI provider, because no such provider is involved at any point.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share your data. We do not share it with any lottery operator, and LottoLocker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any lottery.

Two service providers necessarily see traffic in transit: Cloudflare, which serves the site, and your own browser or device push service (Apple or Google) when you enable notifications. Draw results are fetched by us from official public open-data feeds; those requests contain no information about you.

Deleting everything

In the app: Alerts → Delete my account. It removes your account, every ticket, and your notification subscriptions immediately and permanently. There is no grace period and no soft-delete. You can also request deletion at lottolocker.com/delete-account without opening the app.

Security

All traffic is HTTPS. Sessions are stored as hashes, so a copy of our database yields no usable logins. Passwords are hashed with scrypt and are never stored or logged in readable form.

Advertising

LottoLocker shows no ads today. A future version of the free app may include ads. If it does, we will update this policy and the app's App Store privacy details before that version is released, and say here exactly what an ad partner receives. Your tickets, numbers and ticket photos are never shared with an ad network.

Children

LottoLocker is not directed to children. Lottery tickets may only be purchased by adults in every US jurisdiction, and the app is intended for adults who already hold tickets.
